Wet it completely until it swells and squeeze it to expel the excess water. With the round/wide surface of the sponge, you take a small amount of the material and apply it to your face by dabbing it, without pressing it too much and above all without dragging it. With the sponge tip, you can apply small amounts to delicate areas such as the nose, chin, under the eyebrows and under the eyes.
